Danique is the female equivalent to Virgil Van Dijk. So calm, strong, intelligent and definitely one of the best centre backs in the Women’s Super League.

Danique trains with me once a week with her team mate Inessa Kaagman, usually on one of their days off with the club. This just shows her dedication to the sport. We focus mainly on strength, core stability and reaction times. I avoid working on legs during the season because I wouldn’t want to add to fatigue so instead we work using Blaze Pods and NOHRD stability boards.

I am super excited to see what the future holds for Danique Kerkdijk and I am very confident she will adding lots of appearances to her 19 International caps.
